We carry on South. We arrive at Puerto Rio Tranquillo and its famous caves. Finally, we reach the ice field North : see how we set up our camp in that beautiful nature !
After the dry land of Northern Chili, here we are in the South of the country. Big change ! Everything is now green and the vegetation is everywhere.
We follow the Carratera Austral route and decide to see se what the Chaiten volcano looks like from the summit.
We just arrived in the driest desert of the world. In some places, it has never ever rained ! The perfect place to watch the stars !
We’re heading to South-Lipez, next to the border between Bolivia and Chili. We take on a difficult 4×4 track. We’re ready for the lagunas: beautiful lakes with amazing colors located more than 4 000 meters above sea level.
